About the Anvil-head:

Born the middle child of non-natives in Berkeley, California, I was raised in rural Sonoma County along the Northern California coast. After attending UC Santa Cruz for a brief stint, I returned to the area of my youth and completed my collegiate career at Sonoma State University, culminating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking/Drawing and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. While graduating Summa Cum Laude, I complimented my academic/artistic studies as a member of the intercollegiate lacrosse team. I was small, but made up for it by being slow.

While I enjoy making fine art, I greatly enjoy utilizing creative problem solving toward many types of graphic and web design projects. I continue to update my knowledge of Print and Web Design and the contemporary tools used, through a blend of continual education and experience. Most recently I have focused upon learning the latest industry standards and practices of Web Design, becoming adept at HTML coding and CSS. Through the design and construction of recent sites, I have begun to build an understanding of javaScript and its' applications.

Having recently returned to California, from New England, I look forward to finding work in the Design field.

I have created not only a wide range of Graphic Projects for clientele, but a diverse portfolio of Fine Art work as well. Please enjoy the site and galleries, it was launched on December 10th, 2010 and most recently updated on June 28th, 2011. Please return often to see new work as it is added.
